First of all: the hardware dust removal (via infrared scan) only works with colour slides or colour negative films. Black and white films have to be corrected with an image processing programme.

Scanning times at 3600dpi vary slightly depending on the scanning programme. With the included Silverfast it takes about 150 seconds. It is a little faster with the great Vuescan (https://www.hamrick.com), which is not included in the scope of delivery, but takes about 120 seconds.

In addition to the scan times mentioned above, you have to add - optionally - about 15 seconds for the preview scan.
