How thick can the table be so that the steering wheel can still be mounted? My table is quite wide and I want to know if I need to buy a wheelstand or if it works without one.

I can only estimate it as I have already fitted it to the play seat. Approx. 5cm. If you treat yourself to a system like this, I would recommend a play seat, as this is the only way to screw the wheel and pedals tight. Otherwise it will always wobble and leave marks.

Maximum table leaf thickness 30mm, as far as you can open the two fastening clamps.
