How well does ANC work? I want to hear absolutely nothing of my surroundings (busy street and office), even if I'm just listening to podcasts or the music is very quiet. Does this work with the Xiaomi Buds?

The buds do provide insulation, but not very much (at least to my ears). I would recommend over-ears for strong suppression.
