I am looking for a multiport adapter to back up or transfer data from a defective Android smartphone. Has anyone had any experience with this item? Unfortunately, I was unable to establish a connection via HDMI with a comparable product.

I use it under Windows - I attach Android to import photos.
Screen via HDMI also works without problems

We use the part regularly with / for Apple devices (mostly MacBook). The thing does what it is supposed to do. Unfortunately, I can't tell you anything about Android.
