Question about Targus Universal DV4K

I am looking for a suitable docking station for the home office. I want to be able to connect my company laptop to USB-C. At the same time, however, my private computer should also be connected. A USB switch, which has yet to be defined, should then switch between peripherals. Does anyone have any experience as to whether this docking station is suitable for this? We use it at work and since it has DP and HDMI it is ideal.
