Question about Microsoft Office 365 Home

I am supposed to be able to share the subscription with up to 4 people (in the household). What does this mean if all 5 (including me) have 2 PCs? Subscription = 5 users; or 5 users with up to 5 PCs each?

Attention, this licence is only valid for 5 devices, not 5 computers and 5 tablets and 5 smartphones. I find this description very misleading.
