I bought an Acer HP.DSCAB.015 docking station for my Acer Aspire A517-58GM. Unfortunately, the computer does not charge, but all other devices (external screen, external HD etc.) connected to the docking station are supplied with power. What can I do to ensure that the computer is also charged? - Unfortunately, the docking station is not doing its job. Thank you very much for your quick help!

If your computer is not originally charged by usb-c (other type of charger), the computer's usb-c socket will not charge the computer. In this case, the problem is not with the docking station, but with the computer, which is not compatible for charging via usb-c.

On the other hand, if your computer's original charger is a usb-c charger and you've done the test by plugging the original charger into the docking station, then it may be the docking station that has a fault.
