I bought the adapter for a MacBook Pro Space Grey (15.40", Retina, Intel Core i7) with Spacebar. Monitor works, USB works. Ethernet does not connect. Doesn't that work with Apple?

Hello, I also have a MacBook Pro. Ethernet works for me. Except once I think there was a loose contact. USB also works fine. I have not used VGA.
HDMI does NOT work with high resolution monitors! The performance is not sufficient. I had to buy another adapter.

Apple is not Windows. My Dell Windows 10 system has a USB Ethernet Controller Driver Vers. 10.12.1007.2016 installed and it works fine.
