Question about i-tec C31tripledockpdch
I bought the device and have now connected my MacBook Pro 13" from 2019 with macOS Catalina 10.15.4 to my monitor. Via HDMI I achieve 3840x2160 / 30Hz. Via DisplayPort the screen remains black. When I connect a Surface or an HP laptop, I achieve 3840x2160 / 60Hz via DisplayPort without any problems. Does anyone have a solution for the problem that I can't get 60 Hz with the MacBook and no signal at all via DisplayPort?

Regarding 4K / 60Hz - for this resolution to be available, the laptop's GPU must support the DisplayPort 1.4 standard - I expect both Surface and HP laptops to support this. However, the MacBook Pro 13 "should only be supported if the MacBook has an AMD GPU. The Intel GPU only supports DisplayPort 1.2 - and limits the resolution to 4K / 30Hz.
Regarding the DP not having a signal. Can you please contact our technical support? Would it be possible to send pictures of how everything is connected? Will DP work if you are using a Surface or HP laptop?

Regarding the 4K/60Hz - in order for this resolution to be available, the laptop's GPU has to support DisplayPort 1.4 standard - I expect that Surface and HP laptops both support it. But MacBook Pro 13" should be able to support it only if the MacBook has AMD GPU. Intel's GPU only supports DisplayPort 1.2 - and it limits the resolution do 4K/30Hz.
Intel released new GPUs last autumn/fall and only the latest Intel GPU support DP 1.4 standard.
