I bought this docking station and was able to successfully connect it to my HP notebook and monitor. The problem is that I can only run the monitor at 30 Hz. Is it simply not possible via USB-C or is there any way to increase it to 60 Hz?

Unfortunately, the specifications are somewhat sparse, but here on p. 11 in the manual you can already see that there are limits regarding resolution:

The dock has a USB-minimal graphics card built in, so to speak. Comparable with this adapter:
i-tec USB to HDMI (HDMI, 27 cm)
But just, not all of them can do 4K@60Hz.
Since the dock has a VGA port, I would guess that the USB graphics would match the performance of a VGA port.
What is its resolution ?
