I bought this monitor about a year ago from Digitec. Unfortunately I now have a pixel fault, is this fault under warranty.

That certainly depends on the type of pixel error(s). Like many other monitors, the AOC has pixel defect class II. Here, four pixels are "allowed" to be permanently lit, four pixels are permanently black and up to ten sub-pixels are defective until the tolerance threshold is reached. The best thing is to send a photo to the manufacturer and clarify this. As an end customer, you usually have the best leverage with the manufacturer.
