Now that's strange. I found two manuals for the same product. 
One mentions the alarm function and the remote control has an alarm button:

The other manual does not mention any alarm function and the remote control does not have an alarm button:

I have never used the function before, but according to the manual, a sleep mode as well as an alarm clock can be programmed. Below is the link to the manual (see chapter 9).

On the remote control there is a button with an alarm clock symbol, press this button for a long time, then the alarm time, source and volume can be selected and set.
