I can't use the Arduino with my Surface at all. The driver cannot be found. I have searched 100 websites for advice and I can't find a solution.

Are you trying to use the Arduino IDE (app from the Microsoft Store) or the Internet Browser? Perhaps you have set the wrong port. If you have the IDE in front of you, you will see the port that is set at the bottom right, e.g. Com 3. As soon as you connect the Arduino UNO, the port that is used is indicated, but not set! In the menu, you can change the port via the Tool tab. For me, for example, it is port 6.
It works with my Surface (5), as it does with the other devices I have. Only the Arduino Nano cannot be connected on my Intel NUK, which shows that not everything necessarily works according to the manual ...
I keep my fingers crossed for you, Max
