I had bought the Gigaset DX800 A. In the meantime, they switched to fibre optics. Since then, the Gigaset landline phone has stopped working. This means that I can neither make nor receive calls. Is Gigaset DX800 A suitable for fibre optics? Or which product - similar to Gigaset - would you recommend as a fibre-optic-compatible landline telephone with additional mobile stations?

I use the Gigaset DX800A with the Salt Box in a building with fibre optics, but I don't have any additional mobile stations.

I cannot answer this question as I am not connected to the fibre optic network.

Our telephone connection has not yet been converted to fibre optics. That's why I can't answer your question.

Hello Susanne
I have a Desk 800A analogue phone, not the DX800A. These are different devices.
I assume you have also received a new router for the new glass connection.
According to the instructions, you can connect your DX800A either via VoIP (LAN1) connection "4" to the new fibre optic router (LAN), or via the analogue connection "2". See page 12 and page 14 of the instructions. With an analogue connection, the fibre optic router should have an analogue connection (narrow RJ11 socket on the router). I assume that your telephone was connected to an analogue connection.
For LAN connection (VoIP), the provider settings are required, see page 22.
