Question about Microsoft Surface Thunderbolt 4 Dock

I have 2 problems (image transfer not right away and interruptions with Logitech G mouse): 1. when I switch on my Surface, I don't always have the image immediately on the external screen, but have to repeatedly unplug the USB cable from the dock on the Surface and plug it back in until the status light on the USB-C cable of the dock lights up white and the image is transferred correctly. Even when I connect my business notebook (ThinkPad X1), it often takes one or two additional attempts until the status light turns white and the image is transferred correctly to the external monitor. Strangely enough, it helps if I plug in the USB cable a little "snappily"/forcefully. 2. my Logitech G Pro X Superlight only works with severe interruptions when I connect the USB dongle to the dock. When I connect the dongle to the Surface itself, the mouse works perfectly. If you also have one of these problems, what have you done? Thank you very much!

Helpful answer

Microsoft also provides firmware updates for docks. Perhaps an update will help. About the firmware update: https://support.microsoft.com/de-de...

I have since registered a service case with Digitec and the product has been replaced. The replacement product has worked without any problems so far. I assume that it was a faulty dock. Thank you for your help.

I'm having the same problems. My mouse is also connected directly to the Surface. However, I don't have any problems with the status light. It always lights up. However, I'm having serious problems with my screen. I have to disconnect and reconnect the USB cable (2-3 times) when I start up my Surface. The most serious problem is that after a while, my Surface becomes slower and slower to the point where opening or closing an e-mail can take up to 10 seconds. I disconnect the screen and after 30 seconds performance is back to normal. I think the surface is looking for drivers for the screen and it's "running in a vacuum". I am not satisfied at all unfortunately. Please let me know if you find a solution.
