I have a MacBook Air with an M2 processor. According to the specification, this should support an external display with a resolution of up to 6K at 60 Hz. However, I can only get 5K with LowRes and 30Hz via USB-C. Do I need to use a special cable to enable HiRes and 60Hz?

Helpful answer

Yes, I had the same problem and was able to solve it with an 8k cable (isn't one supplied, then this one would work).

Doesn't the cable supplied have this designation?
