I have a MacBook with Big Sur 11.1 - can I scan from it directly to my Mac? Thanks for the help!

Yes I use a MacBook with Big Sur 11.1. However, the supplied SW cannot be used because it is outdated and not compatible with Big Sur. I bought SilverFast 9 myself, but according to the manufacturer BigSur is supported from version 8.8.
