I have a MacbookPro 2017 with Thunderbolt-3 ports, so the USB-C should work, but it does not. Via USB-C, the MacbookPro does not recognise the monitor and the monitor does not recognise the Mac. HDMI works, but I bought the monitor for USB-C to be able to use the USB port KVM of the monitor... Any help?

I see two possibilities:

1. was the original USB-C cable from the monitor used?

2. The input channel for the KVM switch can be defined in the monitor settings. If necessary, check this.
