I'm 1.75 myself, quite wide and super happy with the Icon. I've sat on both and I don't really like the protruding "wings" of the Epic, but of course that's personal preference. However, both chairs are extremely comfortable and of very high quality, which is why I would rather focus on which one suits you more visually.
