Question about i-tec Nano
I have a USB-C 3.0 extension cable so that the dock can be hidden under the desk. On a Windows laptop everything works (image and USB devices), on a Macbook (M1) only the image works with this extension cable, but not USB (mouse, keyboard). If I connect the dock directly to the Mac, USB also works. Which USB-C extension cable do I need for Mac so that everything works?

In order for the USB-C cable to work properly, the laptop must support these cables too.
We have made a lot of extensive tests and not every laptop can work with USB-C extensions cables correctly. Try turning the USB-C connector 180° - very often if the laptop does not work correctly with a USB-C extension cable, then they do work only in 1 position - but they do not work correctly in other positions.

Charging via USB also becomes problematic when using an extension cable, because the cable length for Power Delivery is also limited. There are cables that are good, then there are some that are better. A cable should at least be capable of USB 3.2 Gen 2 and even such a cable can only transfer 10Gbit/s. Unfortunately, the filtering at Digitec is not optimised to find such a cable, as you can only filter USB 3.2 but not the generation. Anything less than USB 3.2 Gen 2 is likely to cause problems, if you're lucky, okay, but if you're not, you'll have the problems described.
