I have been using the monitor for 3 months and am very satisfied. Unfortunately, I cannot control the volume on the monitor via my MacBook Pro M1. In the settings the message appears: "The selected device has no output control". Does anyone know the problem and possibly a solution? Samsung could not help me. Many thanks in advance!

Alternatively, there is the tool "Monitor Control":

This allows you to control the volume and brightness of the external monitor.

For me it worked like this: in the system settings under Sound, select the Output tab and select the monitor as the output device.
After that, it worked for me.
