I have been using this monitor since yesterday, connected via Displayport. Up to and with 144Hz it works without problems, but if I set the refresh rate to 240Hz, I have such severe picture errors that after 5 seconds my eyes hurt - you really can't see anything at all.

I assume you mean the driver... how you can update the GPU would be news to me ^^.
But the driver is up to date.

@Baris69: the problems do not occur with HDMI. Why? Because HDMI can only do max 144Hz.

Update the graphics card. Maybe it will work.
