I have dell xps 13 9350 and I am really sick of non working dell docks. I would like to use this adapter to connect to 4k monitor dell 2715q. Can someone please confirm compatibility of this adapter?

I am using it to connect from a non-dell laptop to an hdmi cable, which is connected to a tv with hdmi in.
So, if your dell monitor also has an hdmi input, you may use this adapter in connection with a hdmi extension cord.
