I have just connected my MacBook 2017 to the display via the USB C. My MacBook says it has too little power. What can I do? Is this a defect? I wanted a screen that charges my MacBook right away.

I solved this by buying a powerful USB C cable - only the monitor is connected to the power supply and the MacBook is charged via USB C

Has a solution been found here? I have the same problem. However, not only is there a problem with charging via USB C cable (it doesn't do it at all), but no picture is transmitted. The image transmission works via HDMI. I use the supplied USB C cable with which it works on all other devices (incl. iPhone 15 Pro + MacBook Pro 2023), but unfortunately not with my MacBook Pro 2017...

The screen supplies a maximum of 90W. Your Macbook may need more power. My Dell XPS also reports that the screen delivers less power, but it still charges, just more slowly.
