I have noticed several times that digitec constantly corrects the prices upwards or downwards. I believe that this is especially if you observe a product over a longer period of time. This article, for example, was reduced to 549.- yesterday and the day before. If you don't order within a short period of time, the price is raised again. currently 566.- I don't like this kind of behaviour at all.
I did some quick Googling for you: There are many reasons for price differences. Different purchasing conditions, different margin calculations, the size of the purchasing batches, storage time or costs, exchange rate fluctuations, sales and stock clearances, availability at the supplier, sales promotions by the distributor, changes in the manufacturer's recommended prices, automatic price adjustments due to increased demand and sometimes also errors in the system. Prices at Digitec are now unlikely to be adjusted by people who take all this information into account. Therefore, the best recommendation is probably to buy the item where you think it offers the best value for money. By the way, this is a nice site that shows you the price development: https://www.onlineshop-preise.ch/product... I just can't tell you how reliable it is.
It's called "dynamic pricing".
