I just bought an Eizo FlexScan EV3895 monitor with a built-in KVM switch and wanted to treat myself to a new keyboard. So far I've been using a wired Mac keyboard, but I wanted to switch to Logitech MX Keys. I read that the keyboard can only be connected via the dongle and not via cable. Will the keyboard also work if I connect the dongle to the "shared" USB ports of the monitor, which are then made available to the corresponding selected device via the Eizo KVM switch?
