I need a plug to connect two monitors to a laptop so that I can work in my home office. Is this device suitable? The first one I ordered (item no. 2470913) did not work for some reason. Screens must work independently of each other,

Helpful answer

This connector duplicates the image and does not expand it. However, two different images cannot be transmitted via an HDMI connection. This would have to be done via a second video port (HDMI, DVI, Displayport...) or via an adapter on the USB-C or Thunderbolt port.

I need this device so that I can watch TV via my receiver or beamer.
This means signal input from the receiver, signal output 1x TV, 1x beamer.
