i ordered the pen for the galaxy tab a7 2020 but it doesn't work. is it not compatible?

According to Staedtler's compatibility list, the pen is not compatible with the Tab a7. It only works on Samsung devices where the S-Pen also works (Wacom EMR Technology). Only these generic pens for capacitive touch screens work on the Tab a7.
