I use the mouse with the Logitech Powerplay mouse pad, are there any disadvantages when I connect it to the Powerplay mouse pad or is it better to use the receiver of the mouse? Since the mouse pad does not support Lightspeed. Thanks in advance

I don't feel any difference whether the mouse is connected via USB or via the Powerplay mouse pad.
Personally, I would only use the mouse pad now because I can save a USB port on the PC.
