Question about Sony Xdr-S61d
I use this radio on battery power from time to time. Now it turns out that I have already had to replace the batteries 5 times since I bought the device almost a year ago. Is this normal?

Yes, unfortunately. DAB radios are power guzzlers.
YES, for me too - but otherwise, in mains operation, the radio is great :-)
With a mobile phone, the battery runs out after one or two days, which is about 40 times as fast. I therefore operate my radio from the mains.
