Question about BenQ PD2706QN

I want to connect an ethernet adapter to one of the USB-C downstream ports, and me able to use the one USB-C All-in-One port to connect my laptop. Would this work if I want to have internet access directly from the monitor's hub ?

While the BenQ PD2706QN monitor features USB-C downstream ports that support data transfer, there is no explicit confirmation from BenQ that connecting an Ethernet adapter to these ports will provide network connectivity to a laptop connected via the USB-C All-in-One port. The monitor's specifications indicate that the USB-C downstream ports support USB 3.2 Gen 1 data transfer speeds (5 Gbps) and power charging up to 7.5W. While the proposed setup has the potential to function as intended, it is not guaranteed. Factors such as operating system compatibility, driver support for the Ethernet adapter, and specific monitor firmware may influence the outcome.
