I wanted to ask how stable the stick is I have a Capture Card HD 60+ but it doesn't work properly I always lose the connection either it has a loose connection or it's the laptop with the other devices I don't constantly lose the connection. I just wanted to stream Nintendo Switch but it only works via a capture can the stick also establish a connection from Switch to laptop or is that only possible for the transmission from camera? I don't want to buy another 300 franc capture card and then it doesn't work!

The part is already a few years old.
But I've never had any problems with it. But I mainly streamed my camera for Zoom calls.

It is stable and I’m using it together with DSLR camera as webcam since quality looks much better. Hope this helps.

I use the Elgato to record the HDMI signal from my A7R3. The stick is sensitive to poor cables, especially over 10 metres. With a good cable, the Elgato works very reliably for me with 4K24p to 4K30p. That's all my Sony can do. No experience with games consoles
