I would actually like to give the product a chance, but I am a little unsettled by some of the reports like the one described here, which describe precisely this self-switch-off. I can't judge now how disturbing this is in gaming / normal operation. If I buy the product and the shutdown occurs as described and it really bothers me, can I return it?

I have found that when it happens that it turns itself off, I have to unplug/plug the USB cable to the PC, then it works without problems.

Hello, I bought and used this product. It constantly turned itself off, it was also reported on other flors worldwide. Have been in contact with JBL customer service and there has been no resolution. In my opinion it is a faulty product with a massive hardware fault. Really not recommended. I refunded it and got the money back but it wasn't worth the hassle.
