I would like to buy this landline phone, but need a second one for the same household. should I also buy the e560 HX? Does it have its own charging station? Or how should I proceed?

I have the e560, together with other DECT handsets on its base station.
Communication with the outside world is via a UPC/Sunrise box.

For the sake of simplicity, and at almost the same price, I would use the same device twice.

The e560 HX has more VoIP and DECT/CAT-iq 2.0 options and is set up digitally. You can connect it directly to an existing router, e.g. a Fritzbox or similar.

The e560 is designed for an analogue landline.

PS:
I have just seen that Digitec also has Gigaset Duo devices on sale, where two handsets are sold together; costs less and is guaranteed to work quite simply.
