I would like to connect a USB 3.0 extension cable to the dock which goes to a USB hub which is mounted under the table... the LED of the USB hub lights up but when I want to connect my headset or mouse or keyboard there is no signal.... i also only get a lit LED when i use the USB port with the plus... all others don't work... :( Anybody have an idea or a tip? PS: when i plug the mouse or keyboard tongle into the dockinstation i don't get a signal either.... PS,PS... haven't restarted the laptop since I got the dock... maybe this will solve my problem tomorrow.... 🙏🏼 Greetings and thanks

This is not what the docking station is actually intended for. From the manual: "The dock works with notebooks that support industry-standard USB C Alt Mode or Thunderbolt™ protocols through their Type-C™ connector" I have never tried it myself, but I can imagine that the transfer rate is not high enough with a USB 3 adapter. The fact that the power ports work better is probably an indication of that. But there are alternative docking stations from Lenovo with USB 3, or both, USB 3/Thunderbolt ports.

But what else could you try?
- Update the drivers manually
- Update the dock's firmware
- Turn off USB power saving options in DOS.
