I would like to connect an old VHS video recorder with SCART connection (Samsung SV-242FB) to a TV-HDMI connection. The description of the product says that this converter also works for a SCART connection, but the photo does not show a SCART connection, so my question is: can I use this converter with a SCART connection? If so, how?

Just like Spockito writes, or if you haven't bought the adapter yet, there are direct Scart to HDMI adapters. Or your TV has the 3 cinch connections, yellow, red and white, then you only need the plug adapter from scart to cinch. best wishes and good luck!

Hello, yes it's possible: you just need to connect a SCART cable (on the VHS VCR side) to the male video+audio cinch (on the analogue adapter side of the AH31) or else a SCART (male)-cinch (female) video+audio adapter, plus a conventional cable with male video+audio cinches on both sides.cinch (female) adapter, plus a conventional cable with male video+audio cinches on both sides.
