I would like to know if this dockin is compatible with a YOGA C940 14IIL? By compatibility I mean, will the power button on the dock work instead of the one on the PC? Will the PC be charged by the dockin?

Lenovo says: Lenovo USB-C and Thunderbolt docks are compatible with laptops that support USB-C Alt-Mode or Thunderbolt protocols through their USB-C port and require up to 65W of power charging.
If your device supports these protocols, it should be fine.
