I would like to use it to connect my MacBook Pro 13'' 2019 to an external monitor via HDMI or DP. Furthermore, a mouse + keyboard and a few peripherals via USB. This should be possible? Would the MacBook also be charged at the same time without me having to attach the separate Apple cable for charging? I only want to connect one cable to the MacBook when I work at home.

My MacBook Pro 13" 2019 runs fine with it. The monitor is connected via Displayport, the keyboard via USB and the TimeMachine backup is also connected to it. What I like is that the monitor and TimeMachine only switch on when the docking station is switched on manually. The MacBook is also only charged then.
