If my computer is old, can I take this PKC Office licence on to the next laptop if I uninstall it properly and install it again on the new PC? Or does 1x Windows / Mac mean that it can only physically stay on one PC forever?

The licence is transferable to a new PC. However, if you try to install or activate it twice within a short period of time on different PCs, the automatic activation may not work and you may have to activate it by phone.
