If the headphones interrupt the Bluetooth connection after 15 minutes of inactivity (Auto Standby = ON), the connection must be started on BOTH devices to reactivate it, i.e. both on the PX8 (switching the top button up and down) and on the signal source, e.g. mobile or laptop. Does it really have to be that complicated? You would expect that activating the connection on the mobile phone, where the music is coming from - or - on the PX8 alone would be enough - but not that you always have to press BOTH. Am I doing something wrong?
I have the headphones connected to my iPhone. Switching off the PX8 and switching it on again is completely sufficient.
that doesn't work very well for me either - I often have to reconnect manually - as good as the sound characteristics are, other manufacturers have a better handle on Bluetooth connectivity.
Supplementary....
What I mean by 'longer break' can also be 1,2,3 hours or a day ...
Greetings, MAx
This is how the PX8 works for me: it always remembers the last Bluetooth source (e.g. mobile) it was connected to. If I put the PX8 back to my ear after a longer break, I only have to briefly push the upper slide switch upwards and then it takes over the last Bluetooth connection it had (e.g. the mobile phone again) without any problems - and continues playing from the mobile phone without any problems. Just as you would expect. Greetings, Max
In the B&W app there is an option under
"Your headphones/Px8/Paired devices/"
Named :Auto Connect with the last device
Maybe this will work.
I have no personal experience of the problem
because I have switched off Auto Standby.
