If you (currently) want to install pfSense on it, you must change the following before booting: set hint.uart.0.disabled="1" set hint.uart.1.disabled="1" set hint.atrtc.0.disabled="1" So that it remains after booting, enter this data in /boot/device.hints (not loader.conf or .local). After that pfSense runs with freeBSD without any problems. It took me a while to figure this out and there are no articles on the internet. That's why I'm posting this here. Have fun with it
