I'm having issues with the ProArt and the new (late 2016) MacBook Pro - sometimes the screen HDMI (with SilverStone USB-C adapter) connection isn't working - should I switch to a Display Port cable?

I don't know. I have a common cable and no problem. maybe you shoud test another pc on this monitor to check if it's the cable, monitor or MacBook.
