Question about Dell MSA14 Monitor single arm

I'm not sure if this mount is compatible with other monitors other than the Dell brand. I see that there is a "made in Dell" system for attaching the screen. Also, I don't understand why there is a screen size limit? My screen is 35" but weighs less than 11.8 kg (the maximum weight of the stand). Is there a risk that the stand won't hold? Or does it just mean that I won't be able to move the screen as I want?

It is VESA compatible so it is compatible with any brand as long as the screen is VESA compatible. I think the Dell made system is just an easier system (i.e. no screws). I use it with my lg-34UC97 screen and nothing has fallen apart yet (a bit lighter than yours). Nothing to say about the "mobility" of the screen
