Is Freesync compatible with 144 (177) Hz? Or is there a limit here like with other screens where it only goes up to 60 Hz?

I meant 170 so do I need the display cable to use the 144hz? Is the hdmi not enough? And on a more serious note, I read that certain screens only support a certain amount of hz when freesync is on. Can I use 144 Hz with freesync on this screen?
