Is it possible to connect a docking station (e.g. Thinkpad docking station) to the USB-C port for 2 screens? After the expensive purchase of the Thinkpad dock, I don't want to buy the expensive MS dock again.

yes it works fine - we also have a Thinkpad (Lenovo) docking station at work and the functionality (screens, Ethernet, etc) is flawless and fast. I also think you can forget about the overpriced MS docking station.
