Is it possible to connect a total of 8 monitors with two of these docking stations? Please note that it is quite possible that at least some of the connections utilise the laptop's graphics card. However, it is also possible that this device actually has 4 integrated graphics cards.

Hello, yes that works, I am currently running 8 screens on 2 Doks, on a notebook whose graphics card only supports 2 screens.

A docking station supports 4 HDMI or DP screens (with any mix).
The constraint will be the graphics card.

Hi Silas89, you can definitely connect 8 monitors to 2 of the Doking stations. But I haven't yet used the laptop to see whether it can resolve to 2 x 4 displays. But it would be worth testing. We have the 2 and 4 docking stations from Lenovo in the company and can certainly test this today with a 2 and 4.

I have 4 screens with a dock
For a PC, I have 5 screens (PC + 4)
For another PC , I have 4 screens (only the 4)

So the computer's graphics card is used for .

If I were you, I'd analyse the graphics card + 2 docks.
