Is it possible to connect an adapter to 3.5mm jack to the Lightning connector in order to connect headphones in addition to USB? I would like to connect a MIDI keyboard via USB and output the sound to headphones. Unfortunately, there is too much delay via Bluetooth. Or is the Lightning connector only for the power supply?

Unfortunately it doesn't work... I tested it with iPhone and iPadMini. As soon as you connect the Lightning to 3.5mm jack adapter to the Lightning to USB adapter, the message "Accessory Not Supported - This Accessory is not supported by this device" appears.

I tried this briefly with my iPhone XR. The result is the same as with Wolkensprung, no sound is output to the headphones. Seems to be really only good for the power supply.
