Is it possible to connect the receiver to an AMP via the 3.5 mm jack and use the mic for amplified speech through speakers or is the device only suitable for recording?

Hoi - in principle yes, if your amplifier has a gain function (gain+ -) and a corresponding input, why not... without guarantee, I don't have an amplifier at home (only the mics for direct connection to the cam). LG

Hello, yes it works. I have connected it to the microphone input of the mixing console. The problem is the characteristic of the microphone. For me it couples too fast.
