Is it possible to mount a 27'' screen if it weighs less than the 8.2kg payload and has a VESA mount with 100mmx100mm?
In a nutshell, yes.
I also have 2 monitor arms attached to my desk. Keep in mind that today's monitors are lighter than a few years ago. Due to lighter construction; thinner frames, shallower depth, LED backlighting, etc. This makes 30 inches probably about the same weight as a 24" TFT, just a vague example now.
I just checked the product sheet to see how heavy my monitor was and then I was sure about the choice of arm. Don't forget that you still have to remove a stand, which also saves a little weight.
Hello Felicitasp
So regarding the VESA mount, this should not be a problem as according to the specs of the mount, the 100x100 VESA standard is supported. Regarding the size, I think the mount can safely hold the screen if its net weight is less than 8.2 kg. However, you probably won't be able to use the full tilt of the mount because the dimensions of the screen are 12cm larger. However, when I look at the picture of the mount, this should not have a great influence on its usability. Unfortunately, you will only be sure if you test it, but I think it should fit.
