Is it possible to permanently switch off the noise-cancelling function when this model is in Bluetooth mode?

Helpful answer

Yes, unlike the Bose QuietComfort 35, you can switch off the ANC in BT mode. You should also do this in a quiet environment, as otherwise a small amount of noise is audible. It also saves the battery.

yes you can :-) Noise cancelling can be switched on and off at any time...
